MALE AND FEMALE LIVING TOGETHER??????????

03svtcobra Feb 02, 2004 01:53 PM

i have a female brb. she is about 2 feet long. i was wondering if i bought a male brb in april, can i house both of them in a 75 gallon tank. i do plan on breeding them.

- is a 75 gallon tank bif enough for both of them when they are full grown.

- also will they fight if the live in the same enclosure.

also, i got my female about 3-4 weeks ago. when i bought her she just finished sheding. she hasnt shed since i had her. does this mean anything?

i had the same question not to along ago. the answer is yes to all of it. i bout a male on jan 17th 04 and my female (almost 3 feet) absolutly loves him. every time i go to hold one they are right next to eachother. my cage is slightly bigger. 8L x3H x2D. but as long as u keep an eye on them u should b aright.

as i said b4 they should b ok togeather adn not fight, but the thing with the shedding im not to sure about. im kinda curious about my own, mine is almost done shedding, but it will b the 3rd time she shed in the past 2 months, it really all depends on how much u feed her, also if the humidity is to low, that might also b a problem.

I wouldn't worry if your snake hasn't shed in 3 weeks...my brb generally sheds once every month and a half to two months. As long as your snake isn't going very lengthy amounts of time without shedding, i wouldn't be worried. Just feed her regularly and keep the humidity up, and she should be fine.
