the water is on the hot side ..is this good, bad or, indiferent?
I do change it daily, without fail! but I am also willing to move it if for the health of maximus.

Well, the reason I asked is because I started to wonder about it myself. For some reason I'm thinking that you want it on the cool side so that they can have cool water to drink or soak in if they wish and that you can add a second dish (doesn't have to be as big) on the warm side to help with humidity. At least that's what I seem to remember hearing. Hopefully someone else will chime in here.

You really do have a nice setup for your BP - bet he loves it!

I think that if you change it daily it won't matter to much but Iwill do it however it is supposed to be done( if we find out for sure...lol and yes he is happy... took two fuzzies tonight! He also comes out at night and hangs out on his branch, which is funny because ppl have said that they don't like to climb but max does..go figure!!

Yeah, when I first started researching BPs everything said branches and height not needed. Glad I didn't listen. My BP comes out at night and perches on a branch under the infrared heat lamp. I've gotten some cool pics of him like that.
