Hello. I have a ball I probed, came up with six scales on both sides. Anyone have females that probe six deep? It does have a small to med spur, only one though. It weighs in at 2800 grams so if it is male, it's the biggest one I have seen! Please let me know your thoughts. Thanks.

not sure about the probing. but my friend got a HUGE male the other day that we swore was a female because it was so but after probing, it was male. it had been feed 1 med rat every week for years so he was just a big boy, near the size of my friends forearm. hope yours turns out to be a female

well i've read that probing gets to 8 scales and not more!i've read this on page some1 told few days ago.check at topic...help me identify my pythons sex...it's a little lower!

Females usually only probe 2 - 4 scales. My bet would be male. Did you try both sides?
