Sexing Cresties

Scubaqueen Feb 02, 2004 04:18 PM

About a month ago I bought two cresties from a local pet store. Now, their about 6 to 7 inches long and I don't see the hemipenile buldge in either of them. . . . So, would it be safe to assume that their both female?

Hello,

at 10 monthss you should be able to determine the sex of your geckos. However, sometimes, the males will not
develop their hemipenile bulge until very late in life
or until they are introduced to a female.

Great!

I'm really not sure of how old they are. I bought them about a month ago, and their now about 7".
