I have read of this only once. And I don't think this is a very good idea.
They way the person got there leo to eat a piece of grape was to wiggle it around in front of them like a bug and they eat it. it might be good for them but I don't want to give diarea to my babys.

What a cute leo!

In the link I provided, the author said she heard it mentioned here and by a doctor who I believe co-wrote the Leopard Gecko Manual. It said they found that the do eat fruit (and I think veggies) in the wild.

Just curious.

A lot of time I syringe feed my gravid females a fruit baby food "power food" mixture. I take banana baby food (which my cresteds eat) and mix in some crested gecko diet (made by Sandfire super foods - it's complete nutrition in an all-in-one powdered formula), a pinch of Leopard gecko dust (also by Sandfire), and some pure calcium carbonate. I usually give my big girls around .5cc by dropping it on their noses. This is about 1 time per week in addition to their usual food. I feel like it helps production and maintenance of weight a lot.
