A 66% het albino is a snake that has a 66% chance of being het for albino.

When you breed 2 het albino snakes together, the offspring would be
25% het albino,
50% het albino,
25% normal.

Since you cannot tell the hets and normals apart by just looking at them, all the normal snakes would have a 2/3 chance of actually being het, hence 66% hets.

50% hets are produced by breeding a het to a normal, where half the offspring would be normal, and half het, thus a 1/2 or 50% chance that a random offspring is het.

100% or just 'hets' are made when breeding an albino to a normal, or an albino to a het albino. In either case, all the normal-appearing offspring will be het.

PS - 'het' means heterozygous, since albino is a recessive gene, 2 copies of the gene are necessary for the snake to appear albino. A het animal only has one copy of the gene, so it appears normal, but is capable of producing albino offspring if bred to another snake carrying the albino gene.

Jeff supposedly will tell you the secret, but umm....

the only time i've heard of this, the guy supposedly paid him $3,000 to tell him. this is all rumor, though... i have no real idea...

the only way to tell for sure is to wait and breed them to a known het or albino. that's the only way to tell for sure. unless you have a load of cash that you don't want to spend on snakes.... hahahaha!
