Best substrtae for crested

besides paper towls i dont wanna use those some thing more natural the soil i have in his tank is to moist and is sticking toi his toes and hes not really able to climb his glass tank so what should i use instead

There is not "best substrate" It's all preferance. I have three cages. I use newspaper in one, papertowls in another and a naturel substrate in the last. I don't have a problem with my soil, just don't keep it wet. I mist my cages acouple times a day and keep the soil dry. They do just fine.
