I was wondering if anyone here has built their own leo cages? I need some decent plans for a tank about the size of a 20L. I've already checked out arbreptiles.com and they have some cool designs but i just wanted to see some other designs to decide on what i want to build. Thanks.

I would try the cage and habitat design forum, they are probably more knowledgeable in such matters

i've already been there and they're not really helpful and i figured because its for leopard geckos you guys might be able to help.

I just started one tonight... i used pine wood for the sides, and plexi glass like material for the sides... all together, it cost 70... but heres what you need

2 48x18 peices of plexi

4 24x18 peices (2 for sides, and 2 for bottom)

sealent, and any other miscalaneous (sp?) hings... be creative... mine will be done tomorrow, and it is 48x24x18... around a 60 if you were putting it into gallons good luck with yours, and have fun

It'd almost definitely be a lot cheaper to just buy a 20L than to try to build one that size...it only gets economical when you're building a very large enclosure.
