ok 3 Q's that i have already asked but will ask again.

1, How long would it generally take an Eastern to regrow the scales on it's back?

2, How do you cut your blueys nails?

3, and Spinal kinks - Does my Eastern have them? Are they a problem? do they affect the offspring? (pic of Eastern is below)

1. Not really sure. A couple of sheds probably. Too many variables: How did he lose them? How many? Was it a deep laceration? A mating injury? A minor scratch?

2. I don't. If kept on the right substrate with appropriate rough surfaces, it's not necessary.

3. All I can see is a slight kink in the tail. In my opinion, completely inconsequential for breeding or anything else, unless it's a genetic trait.

Cheers.

Thanks Edward. I'm pretty sure all the loss of scales was due to Mating. I've noticed that she has shed yet there are parts that just don't want to come off so i'm thinking that next shed should help out with that prob. Email me sometime, I'd love to have a chat with ya!

1, How long would it generally take an Eastern to regrow the scales on it's back?

James: Hard to say. It depends on a multitude of factors including Temperature, food intake, age and overall health of the specimen, stress level, and severity of the actual wound that resulted in the initial loss of its scales. In short, every situation it just depends. What you should be concerned about is what you can do to make the healing process as quick and painless as possible. Once you have done everything that needs to be done, it is out of your hands.

2, How do you cut your blueys nails?

James: I use small nail clippers. It is not very easy, and takes some patience.

3, and Spinal kinks - Does my Eastern have them? Are they a problem? do they affect the offspring? (pic of Eastern is below)

James: Looks like it has some minor kinks in the tail. "Are they a problem?" Again, that kinda depends on what you consider "a problem". If they always been there, I would not loose too much sleep over them. However, the skink got them while in your care, you may want to try to figure out if the kinks are husbandry related in any way. They should not affect any offspring.
