Poison-frog hunger strike

Randy27 Jun 07, 2003 06:57 PM

I have a 1 and a half inch d. azureus p.a.f. who hasn't eaten in over a week. Any thoughts or suggestions? Should I force feed? Any help would be much appreciated.

No, she was eating fine for well over a week on drosophilia heidi (dusted w/ vitamins) then one day she just stopped. Her tankmate is still feeding fine. I've never had any of my frogs just stop feeding like this. I've quarantined her for about a week now and no sign of progress yet.

Is it possible that maybe she is stressed by something like a drop in temps, humidity levels, etc? Done anything like moved the tank?
