I'm thinking about going to the National reptile breeders expo in Daytona this year. The "Adams Mark" hotel looks kind of pricey. Is this where I want to stay or are there nearby hotels with more reasonable rates. Any planning tips for those that have been would be appreciated. Thanks, Dave

The Adam's Mark is a very nice hotel. If you don't want to spend that much money there are many other hotels all along the beach. There are at least 100 hotels within 1 mile each way of the Ocean Front Center.

I've stayed at the Best Western Myan twice, Nice hotel, 3 blocks away from convention center, last year 77.00 a night. Go to best Western.com for more info, hope this helps.

it's 3 blocks....it's half price.....it's clean..........it's not busy.......hardly anyone in pool.......beach area.........beach view if you want.....tall enough to watch pelicans fly by...........continental breakfast......and a good restaurant for seafood next door....and bar...with bikers......and reggae........ya-mon............

..........if you want a better beakfast......go to Adam's Mark and eat buffet...........

..........at least all the "think they are someone so we have to get drunk and act stupid all night" people won't keep you awake.......you could go party,puke and leave the mess 3 blocks up the street........

there are also pizza places,Wendy's accross the street,mini-mart a block and half away....towards the expo......all you want in 3 blocks....(we never moved the car.....we had a good spot.and Steve never moved it....hahahahaha) sorry Steve.....
