Vermiculite Is this type OK for the mix???? Robym

I just called a garden store that said they have topsoil and also said they had vermiculite which they said they had the coarse one, which I believe is something like this

Is this the right vermiculite for the mix, will it work??

Its supposed to be 4 cubic feets worth, Anyone know how many gallons this is???
I got from yahoo calculator that: 1 cubic feet = 7.48051945 US gallons, is this correct?
