OK some one just gave me a Salamander that has a red belly and a black back and tail. I don't know what type it is or how often to feed it. Oh ya it came with a 20 gall long tank with light. So I have all that.

is any one here. I really need to know how often to feed it. I have ths frozen fish food and blood worms.

Go to www.google.com & search for "chinese firebellied newt". Look at the pictures. Do they look like yours? if so, add "caresheet" to your search and you will find the information you need.

Most likely a firebelly newt. Feed every 2-3 days. Read:
