I,ve noticed that scarlet kings with the higher amount of black tend to be males. Has anyone else noticed this? I might just have found several males in a row with this trait.

I,ve noticed that scarlet kings with the higher amount of black tend to be males. Has anyone else noticed this? I might just have found several males in a row with this trait.
I collected many examples in S.Florida. There was no discernable difference in black pigment there. Nice looking snake!
