So lastnight was the first night I really watched my leo, play around with the red noctournal lights. It however seemed weird that all he was trying to do was climb on things high enough, and stand straight up on the tank walls trying to get out. Ever since Astrid went missing for a couple days it seems like he is trying to get out now.. am I just paranoid.. does anyone elses leo's seem to be TRYING to get out of it's habitat?

It was however neat to watch him for the first time just laying in bed seeing what he does at night.

Sounds like he misses the freedom
my leos sometimes do that after i handle them and put them back
best advice i can give you is when you see him doing that, take him out and handle him for 20-30 minutes just to keep him happy, the more you handle him like this he may calm down and begin to get more used to being in his tank alot more.
i think its almost like putting a newly aquired(sp?) leo into a new home, some scratch at the glass others dont

My first girl would spend half of her waking hours standing upright in the corner of her tank. She would try to crawl up the sides of the tank, which obviously didn't work. She would do it at night and during the day.

On another note, how do you post pictures into a post? I don't know how to. Thanks!

one way is to upload your gecko pics in the photo gallery just go to "photo gallery" and click on "upload photos" when its uploaded and you want to to post it here go to "post a new message" scroll down and it says "select image from photo gallery" and chose which you want and click "post message"
i'll explain better if you didnt get that at all LOL
