What kind of snake is this?

anson Feb 03, 2004 03:54 PM

I rescued it from a pet shop that went out of business and though I have many lizards I have no snakes. I would like to know what it is and care info would be appreciated.
Also tips on handling and aggresion of this type of snake.
It is eating frozen pinkies and came with a cage light and water bowl. They called it a jurrasic snake but gave me no other info.

Maybe a king x corn? Just to let you know, you might get some negative replies. I am speaking from experience, as I have learned my lesson about posting items containing hybrid topics, so to speak.LOL BTW, did the store have a label for the snake? I hate it when pet stores misrepresent. Good luck with your snake-Brett

I didn't really buy it. They went out of business and I rescued it along with 29 various herps I am nursing back to health and placing in homes. I think this is the only snake from there I am planning to keep. Actually my first snake. I just like how it looks and it seems to be docile. I am not looking to breed it or get into a big discussion with others about hybrid snakes because I am not really knowledgeable at all on the subject. I just want to learn how to care for it and handle it. After all the snake didn't ask to be a hybrid so it's not his/her fault.
Thanks for your answer and helping me out.
I just will let negative comments slide off my back as long as the snake gets the proper care.
