mine is too much i think, i had it on the top of the enclosure and the basking rock was way too hot i think. i raised the basking bulb by propping it up on the UVB and a metal box. burnt a hole through the UVB bulb casing...

try taking an actual temperature, and approaching it from a sensible way, "i think"...
wattage is irrelevant, actual temps are life saving.
