This is my new adopted beardie. I had him for about 3 weeks and this is a common site when I go to pick him up. I been trying to tame him by holding him for about 5 minutes a day but he still seems uneasy around me. I was just wandering if he'll eventually calm down? Should I be doing anything different?

Give it time.
a)he's still settling into his new digs
b)he may be going through that "phase" where they attack everything
c)don't pick him up from above, approach him from the side at ground level
d)you may want to try hand feeding to help settle him down. BE CAREFULL.
