What Should I do?

OneTwoManyHerps Feb 03, 2004 08:44 PM

I have two new geckos that I spotted at my freinds house while takeing down a rack, both he gave to me, one earlier than the other. He is a young carrottail who when I got him was very dark and cold but now that I have taken him in he/she is very allert and feeding great on chicken baby food with calcium and parazap. That was on saturday when I found him or her and now today when I went back to get the rest of the rack I found another gecko who is lathargic but has eaten the same food as my carrottail. She is acting like my other one did but lays flat on the ground and her belly just spreads out like a uromastyx. Anyways, they are shareing a heat pad but in different rubbermaid shoe boxes, should I move them apart just incase the one has something the other doesn't? Or are they OK?

i'd take them to a vet if you are serious about wanting to keep them as pets.

Those poor things!!

If they were together already, the set up you have them in is probably fine. Unless I misunderstood your description, I'm sure they've already shared their cooties with one-another.

And, since you got the first one to make a turnaround, I have complete confidence in your ability to do the same with this one.
