All my cham. recieves REP-CAL (calcium & vit.) and sunlight as much as we have this winter here...

I don't think that what your cham is experiencing has much to do with the suppliments he is receiving.
What you have described sounds more like a neurological problem. Perhaps a stroke, or spinal cord injury.
Regardless of what it is, it is beyond the ability of anyone being able to help over the internet.

He sounds like he is in big trouble, and needs qualified Vet help. Not just what we can guess at on line.

Sorry I couldn't offer more help, but a Vet in this circumstance, is the only choice.

Good Luck to you, and your Chameleon. I hope it turns out okay.

thank you Kim,
The thing is that he now move and walk, but it looks like an car accident injured in physiotherapy course, and he can shrink again in any minute. It is not like he paralysed anymore, but still looks strange...

You're welcome....but...
He should still be examined by a vet.
Paralysis is never normal, no matter how short a time it lasts.

Thank you Kim, is it happened to some here before?

icequeen Feb 04, 2004 07:56 PM

I don't recall it happening on the cham forum.
I read about something similar in another forum, and unfortunately the animal passed on.
I was basing my observation on neurological (brain and/or spinal cord) injuries as a whole.
Those are the type of symptoms you would see after a brain or spinal cord injury in any species.

Did you contact a vet about it?
