I Just got the little guy yesterday From Joe lewis @rare earth. Anyone thinking about getting an ackie should check him out. The colors on this guy blow me away. I'm by no means an authority on ackies or any monitor, but in comparison to the one I recieved last week from another source, "wow!!" He told me it would be a screamer, I was thinking, "ya o.k. just send me my monitor I'll be the judge of that." I stand corrected, not all ackies are created equal, a real gem, I'm very happy. Not only that, he ships delta dash. It costs more, but when I opened the box at the airport and put my temp gun on it, I got a reading of 98. Being from Wis. that means something, The first ackie I got arrived very cold from ups. He was almost stiff, I named him frosty, but seriously thats not cool. When I told my source, there only response was "but its alive right" what a joke. Your shipping too Wis. people, one heat pack, use your head. Joe's box
was insulated very well, he taped the inside seams of the insulation and used 2 heatpacks. All for a 6 hour flight. I could'nt be more happy with the deal. I'm not blowing Joe here, I'm just giving him props. Big difference in dealing with a petstore versus a breeder I'll never make that mistake again. Thanx for reading, Clint.
