hey, i werk at the petsmart in columbia, md. we used to always keep the baby leopard geckos on reptile carpet, a new manager has come along and put them all on repti-sand, these guys are tiny like under 3 inches i think, so yea, actually the manager thinks he used calci-sand b/c when i brought it up with him he said that it was calci sand which is "digestible" and that it was policy to keepthem on sand, i just want to point out that i read through the "policies" on reptiles and it said that beardies, and leos, could be on either sand or carpet, so it def wouldn't hurt if sum1 could write a letter like that to my petsmart, thanks a lot
