OKAY. DECISION TIME!!!

mblons Feb 04, 2004 11:09 AM

The time has come to decide. I am getting two six month old fat tails tomorrow and the cage is set up except for the SUBSTRATE! WHAT SHOULD I USE??? Please take me out of my misery and decide for me. Thank you- Mark

Go with paper towels. It's best when you first get them so that you can see the condition that the stool is in, it will be easier to clean, and if in the future you want to switch to something more natural like sdand, it's easier to take out paper towels and add snad then to clean sand out of an aquarium and replace with paper towel. Go easy on yourself!

I have fat tails and I have them on slate and ecco earth (coconut husks). I have no problems with impactment plas the earth holds the humidity which is what the fatties like.
