Hey we need a pic of the axanthic piebald man!!!!
I remember seeing a picture of an axanthic looking pied once. Don’t' remember for sure but I'm thinking it was wild caught and now in Europe. I guess these babies will help prove or disprove the new axanthic gene if that is the case (technically a wild caught pied wouldn't be proven genetic pied either but that one would be hard to miss).
This is the Piebald / Axanthic. Its not my one. MS REPTILES Germany is the owner.
I love this pied.

He sure looks axanthic. He is wild caught, right? I'm not discounting the possibility he is genetic axanthic, it's just a very fortunate find. Best of luck proving that gene!
I think this would be a nice prject for the owner. I really don´t know if this one would be genetic or not!
We can only hope!!!
So even the double het isn't yours? Sorry, I just thought maybe he was and that's why you showed his pic. I'm sure whoever has them will be trying to prove them and will hopefully let us all know.
The double het is my one. But the pied axanthic not.
Do you be interested in the double hets??
Cool. I'm just interested in hearing if you are able to prove the axanthic gene he should carry. What are you planning on breeding him to? I guess worse case his daughters will be 50% chance het for his possibly new axanthic strain (unless you get lucky and breed him to a compatible existing axanthic strain) and you could eventually produce more axanthic piebald with one of them.
I hope to get a female this season. I will bred this pair of double hets together.
Regards
The Piebald Axanthic is one of the designer mutations I really want to see. I'm a big fan of nice Axanthics; I think the pied gene added into the mix will make for an awesome animal. Good luck if you plan on breeding them.
Sincerely,
