How many Leos?

Dedalus Feb 04, 2004 01:13 PM

Im thinking about getting a bow front 46gal tank. I have a 33 gal right now with 3 leos in it. Approx how many adults could be housed in a 46 gal? I'm thinking atleast 5 or 6 but it might be crowded unless I build second level within the cage. What's everyone thoughts?

In my opinion, 1 leo per 10gallons would suffice. So, how does 4.5 leos work???

I think 5 would be fine. I have kept 6 females to a 55 breeder before and it didn't seem to stress them out any.

Thanks for the input. Yah 4.5 leos works, I've got one whos a little smaller then the rest (rescued from a pet store she had MBD when I got her). She's been living with a full grown female and male for a year and she isn't stressed and eats more than my big male.
