Male or female????

How can u tell the difference between male and female dragons??? Do only males wave their arms?????

No, my female used to wave at me all the time. As adults it is pretty easy to tell, males have longer spikes and brightly colored throats. Females have short spikes, rounder bellies and lighter colored throats. The bigest difference is with the femoral pores located on the underside of the back legs. Males pores are black and larger than a females. My females pores are visible but are mostly the same color as the legs. Here is a photo of both, female in the front and young male in the back.

Well, males have longer snouts than females, but unless you have a bunch of babies to compare it is hard to tell. I have only had baby females, so I don't know if a baby male looks different. You pic didn't work, but here is a pic of my baby girl.
