New on housing 1.5 ft BP..Ive got a question [ help @!~ ]

I reaserched so many websites and know the basics and a few other stuff.But there's a question i have.

tank size - 20 L gallon

I have a crock big bowl sittin on my UTH.And the heatling lamp directly ova it.Is it good to keep the water hot like that?? I do it so it can evaporate the water to, put sum humidity in his tank as the best as i can.I'll post up pics in a few days of him.

put the UTH on the other side of the tank where your ball will be under his hide.
