For those who keep multiple females together, when you breed them do you put them back together or do you keep them separate? When i do start breeding i'd like to keep track of which eggs came from which female, so separating them would be best......does this freak out the female if she's been in a group setting for a while or does it make things easier on her?
Also, i'm going to be inquiring with different breeders for the other morphs i'm looking for. I only want 2 males, but i would like to get a group of females (las vagas albino, bell, jungle, stripe, ghost etc.) If i get all the females from the same breeder and they are all the same size, does the quarentine still apply, meaning do i have to keep each separate like i did for my first group? (they were of differing sizes when i got them). This also applies to the AFT's i wish to get (banded, stripe and amelistic (sp?)
And lastly, when they say *ghost* is that the same as snow or pastel? I'm trying to get as diverse a population as possible for pet purposes, not breeding.
We are beginning some huge renovations resulting in my having the entire basement to myself. If i need to keep each female separate for quarentine then i will start setting up my 10, 15 and 20 gallon tanks again, but if not i have spots for 4 more 40 gal tanks on top of what i have now so i could group the geckos together in one or two of those. Then again buying a rack and keeping them all in their own tubs is also an option for quarentine...i'm going to be buying one anyways....
Thoughts, suggestions, opinions? all are welcome
Thanks,
Red
