regurge question

rttlrvenom Feb 04, 2004 03:53 PM

my little normal color regurged on monday because my damn uth temp spiked to 110 during the night. he is fine now i have the ith turned off and a heat lamp instead. the temp is not a nice mid to low 80s on the hot side. But anyway how long do i have to wait to feed him/her. I know to go slow i think im gonna start him on 2 pinky heads instad of a whole pinky just to be safe.

Thanx
Jon

What I've done with a hatchling that regurged:

Wait 10-14 days from the regurg. Feed 1 pinky head (save the body for later). 10 days later feed the pinky body. 10 days later feed a pinky. 5-7 days later, continue with normal feedings.

Wait a week and offer a small pinkie ... I bet you a shiny nickel your snake gobbles it down.

And be sure your little guy has fresh water (regurgitation brings a lot of water up with it).

Good luck.
