Ziggy's tail is still pretty messed up, too. But anyway. my mom can't recall what SORT of maple this is, but in the spring it has some very soft, tasty-looking flowers all over it. Turkeys LOVE them, but I am quite aware that a turkey and an Iguana are different. 
Just wondering if there's anything on a maple that's nice and healthful for an Iguana. Also, Ziggy wll be having her first vet appointment soon, what should i do to get ready for it? Keep a closer eye on her? I know I should have a fresh stool sample, but she's really weird about her defacating. Irregular, really. anyway. Thank you!

your reference to visible flowers on a maple sounds like the plant, abutilon. It is known as flowering maple but is a completely different family of plant from the "tree" maples. I don't know if they would be safe for igs to eat or not.
