My girl is about 2 yrs old and pretty good sized (going to weigh her after she gets done digesting the mouse I fed her yesterday).
I would like to breed her this year and have found the perfect male. I was wondering what some of your tried and true methods were for introducing the snakes, cool down periods, how long you leave them together, misting to simulate rainy season or not. I know that typical mating season has already passed... is this as simple as controlling temp and light pattern? Could I simulate an early mating season sooner (I'd like some time to increase her eating to make sure she has plenty of reserves but would love to get her bred before winter or spring).
Do balls only have one clutch a year?
