hi is 3 medium crickets a day too much food for a pacman frog a little bigger than a toonie?

What is a "toonie"?

Gotta give more info when you post. And complete sentences always helps. Also a reply back to the people that answer your questions is always polite and at least we know then that you have figured out how to reply as well.

Now to answer your Question. Try not to feed the pacman every day. Try feeding him every 3 days. Im not sure how large a *toonie* is so if you give it to us in inches or another forum of measurement we might be able to help. Try putting in 5 crickets every 3 days and see how many he eats and go from there. When my pacman is full he stops eating. Sometimes he leaves a cricket or two in the cage to snack on late at night.
