In the Miami population of C.pectinata all females are bright green (they basically do not lose their juvenile coloration and are very easy to distiguish from the males on color alone )Adult males can be black/silver(whitish) or yellow .
I have never seen a female from this population look like that and I have collect and obserbed many of them over the last 20 years.

Are you sure that you have a pectinata and not a similis . Similis also occurs in the Miami area . Similis inhabits a large portion of Dade and Broward county in South Florida where as pectinata only occurs in a very small area.

oops forgot to add that if you are sure that it is pectinata and not similis then you should have that igg probed because it is is a pectinata then it is a male .
