Wierd Sleeping Habit?

SaveFerris Feb 04, 2004 08:28 PM

Every nite my beardie sleeps flat in the open floor in his cage. He has rocks that he uses ONLY for basking and a branch structure that he uses every so often and a half pipe log that he COULD use as a cave to sleep in but he never does. He just always lays out in the open.

Is he afraid of the cave? I put him in there and he crawls out. Is it natural for them to sleep on flat ground with no cover around them?

hey,

i have a male beardie that sleeps in the middle of his cage...right out in the open, he went through a phase about 4 months ago where he would sleep in his hde box every night for about 3 weeks, but now he is back to sleepin in the middle of his cage, i guess he just likes to be nice and comphy, he just digs a shallow ditch and goes to sleep, it thinks its a perfectly normal

Beardies get all sorts of wierd sleeping habits...

Wait'll you come home some night to find your beardie asleep, standing up against the glass of the tank.
