Cage Equipment

I'm looking to build an enclosure from scratch for my ball python and i was wondering if anyone here could tell me a good place to pick up supplies for the construction? Specifically silicone sealer/adhesive and glass plate commonly used in aquariums. I know i can pick up wood and mesh from any local hardware store but I was curious if places like home depot carry that kind of glass and silicone?

It has tons.

It has pieces of glass, pieces of acrylic, aquarium sealant, regular sealant etc etc.

Check it out you will find pretty much anythign you need.

If you are making a cage out of acrylic plastic, you will need weldon 16, its not available most places gotta order it online. Let me know if you want the link to it.

Some hardware stores sell scrap wood and acrylic for cheap. Check out that stuff first, they might have around the sizes you need. I built my whole leopard gecko cage out of scraps that were totally free. Also, try fleamarkets for used furniture. If you need wood, you can buy cheap used closets and build a cage out of that. Plus, the closets usually have cool designs which make the cage look even better.

If yyou havent built a cage before then find ways to save wherever you can. If you build a cage with all new pieces, you may not just run into the hundreds, but the thousands.

So what i understand is pretty much any hardware store will have this type of stuff? I figured home depot would probably have that type of stuff but where i am in Indiana the nearest one to me is 45 minutes away. Thanks a lot for your guys help.
