How do you serve maggots?

joseph1 Jun 07, 2003 11:02 PM

OK. I'm trying to feed maggots to my problem tinc and it seems to love them. The ones it can get ahold of that is. Everywhere he jumps in the dish he gets wet and then the maggots stick to the plastic dish instead of his tongue. Being a frog he doesn't seem to realize that if he goes to the dry side of the dish he can lick up the dry maggots. Is there another way to do this?

Why not use a small "dish" e.g. a plastic soda bottle cap, so the frog can just lean in and slurp rather than climbing in?
