hey boastud sorry this isn't an answer.
i actually was curious if your male ball ever got in the mood??
No i tried all the things that people have been giving me. It does seem that he is courting, he is allways on top or real close to the females, but the tails are always in opposite directions. I am just hoping that they were breeding at night or in the afternoon while im gone.

well best of luck dude. i'm sure you seperated them for awhile that seemedto work for me to. hey try some barry white.....everytime barry plays somebody gets laid..lol
I believe it is simple recessive, but I could be wrong.
The guys at VPI have made Pewter boas from crossing Blood x Anery. I think the Anery that was used was a Type II Anery, but again I could be mistaken.

You never experience life until you have kids..then you realize what you should have done rather then what you did do
the blood boa is a recessive trait, not co-dom.
Yes, the blood boa has been bred into the Anery gene by the Barkers. They bred the offspring to produce Pewters.
AWESOME looking snakes.

I know Ron St. Pierre bred his bloods and had a few come out anerythristic which were really the first pewters. These were sold and bred and another litter with Pewters was produced which Tracy purchased. I know VPI did produce some awesome bloods this year but I don't remember if they produced any pewters. I don't think they have ever bred a blood x type 2 anerythristic. It appears that the original animals were hets and that VPI acquired offspring from these animals. Tracy please correct me if I am wrong.
Rich Ihle bred blood x hypo a few years ago and I would expect to see him produce hypo bloods this year. I would expect the blood to be bred to T and T- albinos in the near future.
