I just want to apologize for pretty much starting all the arguing...lol I always just wanted to agree to disagree...but some people apparently can't do that (I actually have been having a little trouble with that this past week...what a wonderful time of the month it's becoming....lol)...it's a matter of opinion if using sand is "worth the risk"...whatever that risk may be. At this point it's also a matter of opinion as to just how risky it is (yes people have had leos die of sand impaction...however no one has proven if it was just having the sand that caused the problem)...there is a risk associated; I'm not going to, and never did argue that there's not...but there are risks associated with just about everything, it's up to the owner/breeder to decide if they think it's worth it. If you think it's too risky...fine...if you don't...fine...it's no ones choice but our own. I'm going to stop arguing and just leave all that as my "final thought" on the subject. I have to go get ready for an organic chem lab....lol Again, I'm sorry for starting all this! Oh...and b/c of it being that "time of the month" (sorry if you really don't wanna know that...lol)...I want to apologize for having been so argumentative and somewhat nasty.
