You figured it out~!

Ok glad to see that your figuring it out. Now i can try and help to answer your Q.

You will notice alot that your pacman will be burried in his substrate. This is absolutely normal. Mine stay burried all day long and only come out to feed. So about 23 hours a day they are burried.

They burry themselves for several reasons. One it makes them feel very secure and maeks them feel hidden from possible threats. It also is a way for them to escape from the heat.

It maybe that he is just relaxing and burrowing. Or it could be that you are using way to much heat on him. Was it you who posted earlier on using a 75w bulb? If so after some tests I have done with mine, i do not recomend using a 75w at all. Use a 40w bulb, that will most likely give you enough heat.

But i doubt your frog is burmating (hibernating). If he slows down eating for a long period of time then he might be, but right now i would assume he is just chilling.
