I have never seen a single hyper-melanistic leo up for sale. I believe they are a mutation of the blizzard gene, because every now and then blizzard breeders will end up with a completely black blizzard some call it the midnight blizzard so you may want to do a search for that.

The picture of the Hyper-melanistic gecko on geckogenetics.com does not look like a midnight blizzard. It looks like a completely different morph. Does anyone know who has that kind of morph? Look at www.geckogenetics.com/morphs/hyper_melanistic.html
