Turbofan Hova Bator Incubator

copyleftpenguin Feb 05, 2004 04:42 PM

How's it going? I just purchased a Turbofan Hova Bator Incubator online and just heard that they're not idealistic for turtle eggs (the fan dries it out)... I've also heard that it increases that number of eggs hatched. Does anybody know the story? I'm interested in hearing the pros and cons. I mean, if worse comes to worse, I probably can disconnect the fan. I would like as much input as possible. Thank you for your time.
Take care

I don't know if this information will be of any assistance, but I plan on putting the eggs in covered deli cups with holes in them and vermiculite. I heard somewhere that having the eggs in containers inside the incubator helps counter the eggs drying out. Is this true? I still don't know much about this... I just don't want to make any mistakes.
