Snake Breeding Rack

I want to make a rack for breeding colubrid snakes and i wanted about 6 adult boxes and something like 12 hatchling boxes would it be better to build one rack with all the trays in it or two seprate racks one for babies and one for adults

here is a hatching rack step by step. you could modify a couple of parts here and there to have bigger rubbermaids in it

I like to build separate adult and juvenile racks, especially for colubrids that need to be brumated/hibernated. That way their rack can be moved into the cool area and the hatchlings can remain warm through the winter if necessary.

Also, I find it easier to work with the hatchlings when they are up higher. So my hatchling racks sit on top of my adult racks.
