Here are my albinos, guesses for their "lines"

ChuUtena Feb 05, 2004 09:10 PM

Okay here is a picture of my two albino girls. The lighter of the two (smaller one on the right) actually has red eyes. The other girl doesn't. But if anyone could give me a guess to which albino line they are from that would be great. I didn't buy them from petco, so whoever said that they have trempers there thanks but I didn't get my babies there. Okay thanks!

0.3.1 leos (soon to be 1.3.1!)
-0.1 tangerine het rainwater albino w/jungle background (Blinkers)
-0.2 jungles (Vahz & Skissor)
-0.0.1 albino (supposed Tremper)(Spitfire)
-soon to be 1.0 tangerine rainwater albino
1.0 australian shepherd/cattle dog (Foster...although he was being fostered before I got him...that has nothing to do with his name...It's after the beer!...lol since he's australian and I'm a college student!)

Thanks!! That's Buttercup. She's my original girl! I've not seen many that look like her. When I get into breeding (most likely not this season, but next season I'll have the "skills" and the males since I have none now) she'll be the first one I want to breed. I just wish I knew what line of albino I need to breed her with.

I'm taking a wild guess here but I'm saying rainwater. Tremper's have a more uniform banding www.leopardgecko.com.

The light one looks like a Rainwater, while the darker one looks like a Bell. This is just through my eyes, for all I know the light one could be a hot incubated trember, and the dark one can be just a dark Tremper, but you specifically said they weren't trempers.

What I said about not being Trempers is that someone posted saying petco only carries trempers, and since I didn't get them from there then I don't know what they are.

Tremper. Never seen a Rainwater as dark as the big one or as white as the small one. If you cool the little one down it will darken up.

I think you have a chocolate tremper and another tremper there. The dark one could possibly be a bell but those are npot very common so it's more likey it's a tremper. The light one could also be a rainwater but I think it's a tremper. The light one has a lovely pattern! Very pretty.

I'm no expert on Bells by any means, but I have dozens of tremper albinos not even including the ones I've sold and have never hatched out anything remotely like that dark one either, so not sure (relatively) limited personal experience is a very accurate standard by which to judge. I have seen pics of bells that looked like that, to my memory. I think it probably is a dark tremper though, most likely.
