stupied question about heatape

ok im new to using heatape..I have everything hooked up properly I think.I was just curious to what parts of the heatape should I avoid touching..thx Neo

make sure you have electrical taped the ends of the heat tape, especially the two metal strips running down the sides. And make sure the wire connections are taped too, and you should be pretty good and not have to worry about it.
