Sanke burrowed in hide

Luckiefool420 Feb 05, 2004 10:23 PM

Ok i have two hides, one on the warm side and one on the cool. the warm one is a half log and the cool side is one of those flower pot tray type things with a hole cut in the side. Well she loves the tray and stays in it pretty much all day. Anyways, when i woke up yesterday she had moved her bedding(cocanut shavings, the stuff that comes in the compressed brick)in front of her entrance to the hide all the way to the top except for a little crack. So, she has been in her hide for two days strait with the door blocked off. She is a shy snake but this seems excessive. Is this a problem or does she just want some privacy? Should I take her out or by putting the dirt in front of the door is she trying to tell me to leave her alone? Any ideas or experience with stuff like this would be appriciated. thanks

How long have you had her? If she's still new, she might just need more time to acclimate before you start handling her. Otherwise...I don't have a clue.
