hemorrhoids?

One of two RETF developed a clear to light pink sac that extruded from her anus the size of a raisin.It lasted more than 24hours.Its gone but wonder what it was,how to treat if it returns,causes...ect.I have poured threw many book I have on hand and nothing as of yet.Thanks for any help you can provide.

It sounds like a prolapse to me. You can search fot threads about prolapse on this forum. EVeyon ehas their own ways of dealing with it. The number one thing you can do is take the frog to the vet. It may have disappeared but it is likely to happen again. I have found that overfeeding, too little humidity, and stress can all cause this to happen. I would not try to push it back in unless you are experienced or a vet. I have found that soaking the frog in dechlorinated water may help them reabsorb the prolapse,some people use sugar water. But definately take the frog to the vet and get aprofessional opinion.
