Plug In dimmer?

paradisio Feb 06, 2004 12:46 AM

Is there such a thing as a dimmer switch where I can plug something into and plug the dimmer into the power source?

I must of been in lowes for 2 hours looking for one and asking everyone and they only had house dimmers (the kind you install in walls)

If anyone has any info I would appreciate it

I have purchased them at both Lowes and Home Depot. Look in the electrical department. They are called lamp dimmers. They cost about $12 to $14. You plug it into the power source then plug your heating device into it. Adjust the temp with a slide switch on the dimmer. Good luck. Rin
