VERY CONFUSED!!

dazz Feb 06, 2004 03:10 AM

I have been looking at a lot of the pictures on this site and might i add some of your animals are truly splendid, but i am just a little confused as to what is male/female!! some of you refer to ther pictures as he or she. The ones i have noticed that are refered to as she have yellow heads/bodys or some have grey bodys with white spots but there are some that have blue/torquise bodys with is the difference?

Please help as i would really like a pair.

When you get a pair, I recommend doing so from a breeder. They willl be able to ensure you get a pair of whatever is is you want. There are several breeders on this site, myself included that will be offernig collaris babies...probably the most easily to sex. Some males get nice yellowheads, some do not. Some females can even exhibit some nice yellow on their heads, but most do not. Expect to pay between 30 and $50 for a nice collaris pair from most breeders. There are others who often let theirs go for as low as $15 a pair as well.

Hope that helps a bit.
