How long should I wait for a breeder to contact me

Felissa Feb 06, 2004 07:50 AM

after buying a dragon off their website. You know, before becoming exceedingly paranoid. It's been 24 hours, and I just spent a lot of money (for me, between the dragon itself and all the cage/lighting/supplies/etc).

I don't want to seem rude or impatient, this is the first time I've bought a dragon online (as opposed to face-to-face). I did a bit of research before buying. I didn't find anything bad about them, in fact their dragons have been praised recently on this forum. But when I found a phone number on the site and called, the number was "no longer in service or disconnected".

I was ripped off a couple months ago, so I'm a bit jumpy now.

I don't know who you're talking about and maybe they had a storm or something that temp. took thier service out but if I ever called a number and got a disconnect message I def. wouldn't send any money.

What's one more day going to hurt to find out some more info!

If you've heard a lot of good things from people here I wouldn't be too worried about it yet. The next time you may want to think twice before forking over money, if you run into the same situation, though.
