What is this morph?

roachey56 Feb 06, 2004 09:41 AM

at bobclark.com there are 4 pictures of ball pythons. The one all the way at the bottom is silvery gray with a normal. What morph is that silvery gray colored one? is it a platinum?

I'm not sure, but it looks like an "axanthic spider" to me. It's quite striking! But it's definitely not a platinum. That's a whole different morph.

i emailed him about it & he replied that it was a normal spider morph that after one shed came out all gray axanthic looking like that he said he has no clue why it happened but i'm sure he's happy as hell..lol

k well let me rephrase that i didn't mean that it is an "axanthic" i was just using "axanthic" to reference the color of the snake but i guess i wasn't claer about that..lol. he didn't say it was anything other than a spider that randomly after a shed came out silver & grey. so to his suprise he was blessed with one sick looking snake.

Its a normal colored spider that went through some kind of color change after a shed this sort of common to balls.
